With that said, our framed door kennel products can not contain ALL dogs. We expect that there are some breeds and or pets that are beyond containment with our products. While we have had great success in kenneling aggressive dogs, we are not claiming that we can contain every dog. A good example would be a very aggressive Belgian Malinois. Dog owners know their dogs intimately and should be the person that makes the final determination regarding the use of any product or kennel. We are regularly working on additional products and upgraded designs that will give a higher degree of containment for aggressive breeds. Do your Dog Kennels come assembled or in a kit form?

All kennels are delivered fully built. Some large ones do require minimal on-site work, which our delivery drivers are trained to complete.

Can I customize the layout of the kennel structure?

Yes, you can design the kennel to your specifications, we will gladly work with your plans and quote the build accordingly.

Can the inside of the kennel structure be washed down?

Yes, the kennels come standard with a fully finished interior that includes PVC panels on the walls and a polyurea floor coating. This gives you the ability to rinse it down day after day without rotting.

Does the structure require any special foundation?

We recommend stone or concrete foundations.

Can the kennel withstand a heating and cooling system?

Yes, the kennels can be equipped with both heating and cooling which we can install during the building process.

What is a Mule?

A Mule is a piece of motorized equipment (also known as a shed mover) that can move a large structure without the need of a truck & trailer. The machine hooks to the shed on the gable end and a set of heavy duty wheels are placed on the 4x4 skids on the opposite end. An operator will then "drive" the shed to the intended set-up site by either riding on the Mule or by remote control. Mules are ideal for small yards or tight locations. There is an additional charge of $150 for Mule shed deliveries.

What is LP Smartside?

LP Smartside is an engineered wood siding product designed to eliminate flaws, resist deterioration and cost effective to maintain. LP Building Products' Smartside line of siding is made up of wood strands that are coated with a resin binder and compressed to create a board of superior strength. Each Smartside piece is also treated using LP's SmartGuard zinc-borate treatment system to protect against termites and rot. All Smartside sheds come standard with SilverTech, a finish grade radiant barrier that resists flaking and peeling. These panels also help reduce the sun's radiant energy through the panels which helps keep stored items cooler and brightens the interior. LP Smartside carries a 25 year manufacturer warranty.

How are sheds delivered?

Sheds & garages are pre-built and delivered on a pick-up truck with trailer. Total length of both truck & trailer is approximately 55'. The hydraulic trailer tilts up and the building slides off the back (similar to how a boat is unloaded from it's trailer), the truck then pulls forward placing the shed in the desired location. If yard is small see above for Mule deliveries. 

  How much clearance is needed for delivery?

Allow for 2' wider than your shed (12' wide shed needs minimum 14' wide clearance) if backing straight up, wider if making turns. We also need 14' height clearance from tree limbs and power lines. The delivery driver must have enough unobstructed room in front of him to be able to drive out from under the structure. 

What site prep is needed prior to delivery?

When installing a storage shed it is usually not necessary to use any type of foundation except in extreme circumstances (i.e: severely out of level or garages). We use several different size cinderblocks & will block all corners and center of shed to ensure it is level. Make sure there are no power lines, trees, branches, play sets, fences, posts, vehicles or other buildings blocking the way. The area shed is to be placed should be cleared of all debris.

If using a chemical based weed killer or insecticide such as Round Up or Sevin we kindly ask that you refrain from applying it until after your shed is delivered. It is standard practice for our delivery crew to kneel, lay or sit on the ground to ensure proper leveling is done and would prefer not to do so on ground that has been treated.   

What if my site is not level?

We want your building to be safe to use, therefore we will not block sheds if severe grading issues exist. It is strongly recommended to professionally excavate and install a level stone pad prior to delivery unless using a poured concrete foundation. We recommend using 3/4" blue stone (or other stone that compacts well), it should be 4-6 inches in depth and at least 1 foot larger than the size of your structure. Doing this will assist with water drainage, prolonged life of the ground skids, added support to your structure and allow for even settling of the unit.

What if my yard is not accessible for delivery?

We offer Mule shed deliveries (see above). Tiger Structures offer all shed styles in kit form. We will deliver your kit as close to the intended set up site as possible & leave concrete blocks for leveling. If you are handy you can build it yourself, hire an outside contractor of your choosing or our Amish craftsmen can assemble your kit for an additional fee. All kits come with everything needed for assembly with the exception of fasteners as many people use air tools. Kits are same price as an assembled shed.

Do I need a building permit for a storage shed?

Most counties do not require a permit if structure is not on a permanent foundation and under a specified square footage. If property is in Critical Area/Waterfront, a permit is required regardless of square footage. Codes vary depending upon your location, always check local zoning regulations for your specific area. The following is our understanding of maximum allowable square footage without the need for a permit, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to comply with local zoning regulations.

Order Confirmation, Customization, and Payment Terms

Once your order is submitted, Dogominium will contact you to review and confirm all customization details for your build. After your selections are finalized, your payment will be processed. Because each Dogominium is built to your specifications, all orders become nonrefundable once payment is completed.

Build Time and Production Schedule

Every Dogominium is custom built using residential grade materials and insulated construction. The full build and delivery timeline may take up to three months depending on seasonal demand and customization level, though many orders are completed sooner.

Delivery Coordination and Placement

When your doghouse is ready, the delivery driver will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time. They arrive with specialized equipment designed to safely off load the structure and place it precisely where you want it on your property.

Clear access to the placement area is required so the driver can maneuver the doghouse into position. Someone must be home during delivery to guide placement and confirm the final location. If no one is available, the doghouse will be left in an accessible driveway or parking area.

Return Policy

Every Dogominium is handcrafted to your unique selections. Due to the custom nature of these builds, orders are nonrefundable and returns cannot be accepted once production begins.
