Your kennel will be built according to your selected specifications. Base models include a 17" x 20" plexiglass dog door, a six-panel man door, an 18" x 23" window, and 11.5-gauge chain-link fencing.

Do your dog kennels come assembled or in kit form?
All kennels are delivered fully built. Larger kennels may require minimal on-site work, which our delivery drivers are trained to complete.
Can I customize the layout of the kennel structure?
Yes. You can design the kennel to your specifications. We will gladly work with your plans and provide a quote for any special requests.
Can the inside of the kennel structure be washed down?
Yes. The kennels include fully finished interior surfaces, including Trusscore PVC panels on the walls and a polyurea floor coating. These durable surfaces create a clean, hygienic environment for your dog while allowing you to rinse down the doghouse regularly without worrying about rot or moisture damage.
The interior floors feature polyurea flooring. Polyurea cures into a single, continuous membrane, so there are no seams, grout lines, gaps, or porous areas. This means no urine absorption, odor retention, mold, mildew, or hidden bacteria colonies. For dogs with allergies, sensitive paws, or respiratory issues, this can be an important health benefit. Outdoor decking is poly decking, offering similar durability and ease of maintenance.
The interior walls feature Trusscore PVC, with an option for durable FRP glassboard on the exterior-facing wall inside the kennel area for dogs that may be particularly destructive. These types of surfaces are commonly used in veterinary environments because of their hygienic properties. They are well suited for environments that need surfaces that are waterproof, nonporous, easy to disinfect, and resistant to urine, bleach, and other chemicals.
Does the structure require any special foundation?
We recommend a stone or concrete foundation.
Can the kennel accommodate a heating and cooling system?
Yes. The kennels can be equipped with both heating and cooling systems, which can be installed during the building process.
What is a Mule?
A Mule is a piece of motorized equipment, also known as a shed mover, that can move a large structure without the need for a truck and trailer. The machine connects to the shed at the gable end while a set of heavy-duty wheels is placed beneath the 4 x 4 skids at the opposite end.
An operator then moves the structure to its intended placement site by either riding on the Mule or operating it by remote control. Mules are particularly useful for small yards and tight locations.
What is LP SmartSide?
LP SmartSide is an engineered wood siding product designed to resist deterioration while providing a durable, attractive exterior. LP Building Products' SmartSide siding is made from wood strands coated with a resin binder and compressed to create strong siding material.
Each SmartSide piece is also treated with LP's SmartGuard zinc-borate treatment system to help protect against termites and rot. SmartSide sheds come standard with SilverTech, a finish-grade radiant barrier that resists flaking and peeling. These panels also help reduce the sun's radiant energy entering through the panels, helping keep the interior cooler and brighter.
LP SmartSide carries a 25-year manufacturer's warranty.
How are doghouses and doghouse sheds delivered?
Executive Estates are pre-built and delivered using a pickup truck and trailer..
The hydraulic trailer tilts, allowing the building to slide off the back, similar to the way a boat is unloaded from its trailer. The truck then pulls forward as the structure is positioned in the desired location.
If your property has a small yard or limited access, see the information above regarding Mule delivery.
How much clearance is needed for delivery?
Allow at least 2 feet of additional width beyond the width of your structure when backing straight into the site. For example, a 12-foot-wide structure requires a minimum of 14 feet of clearance. Additional clearance may be necessary if the driver needs to make turns.
We also require at least 14 feet of vertical clearance from tree limbs, power lines, and other overhead obstacles. The delivery driver must have sufficient unobstructed space to pull the truck and trailer out from underneath the structure after placement.
What site preparation is needed before delivery?
The placement area should be prepared before your structure arrives. Make sure there are no power lines, trees, branches, playsets, fences, posts, vehicles, buildings, or other obstacles blocking the delivery path. The area where the structure will be placed should also be cleared of debris.
If you use a chemical-based weed killer or insecticide, such as Roundup or Sevin, we kindly ask that you wait until after your structure has been delivered before applying it. Our delivery crew may need to kneel, lie down, or sit on the ground while leveling the structure, so the area should be free of recently applied chemicals.
What if my site is not level?
For safety and proper placement, we cannot block and level structures when severe grading issues exist. We strongly recommend having the site professionally excavated and preparing a level stone pad before delivery unless you are using a poured concrete foundation.
We recommend using 3/4-inch bluestone or another stone that compacts well. The pad should be approximately 4 to 6 inches deep and extend at least 1 foot beyond the dimensions of your structure.
Proper site preparation can improve drainage, help prolong the life of the ground skids, provide additional support, and promote more even settling of the structure.
What if my yard is not accessible for standard delivery?
Mule delivery may be available for properties with limited access. Please contact us to discuss your property and available delivery options before ordering.
Do I need a building permit?
Building codes and permit requirements vary by location. It is the purchaser's responsibility to determine and comply with all applicable local zoning, building, permitting, and property requirements before delivery. Please check with your local building or zoning authority to determine the requirements for your specific property.
Shipping
Shipping for the dog houses, Executive Estate, and fencing panels for an additional run is free to your door within the continental United States (the lower 48 states).
Your price is all-inclusive, with no unexpected charges or last-minute add-ons. Standard shipping is provided on a shared partial-flatbed load, and delivery timing follows the carrier’s full route schedule for that shared shipment.
If you need priority or accelerated delivery, we can arrange dedicated flatbed transport and provide full-load expedited pricing upon request. Expedited full-truck delivery is not included in our published price.
Order Confirmation, Customization, and Payment Terms
Once your order is submitted, Dogominium will contact you to review and confirm all customization details for your Executive Estate. After your selections are finalized, your payment will be processed. Because each Dogominium is built to your specifications, all orders become nonrefundable once payment is completed.
Build Time and Production Schedule
Every Dogominium is custom-built using residential-grade materials and insulated construction. The full build and delivery timeline may take up to three months, depending on seasonal demand and the level of customization, though many orders are completed sooner.
Delivery Coordination and Placement
When your Executive Estate is ready, the delivery driver will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time. The driver will arrive with specialized equipment designed to safely offload the structure and place it precisely where you want on your property.
Clear access to the placement area is required so the driver can maneuver your Executive Estate into position. Someone must be home during delivery to guide placement and confirm the final location. If no one is available, the structure will be left in an accessible driveway or parking area.
